Thesis realized at Televic Conference wins Award (21-10-2010)

On 21/10/2010, Jency De Clercq, student at Howest, received the "Innovation Award" during the official ceremony in the Budascoop in Kortrijk. Jency has won this award in the category Marketing, Tourism and Multimedia thanks to his thesis 'Managing a conference by means of a touch screen', realized together with Televic Conference.

The Business Centre Kortrijk and the Innovation Centre West-Vlaanderen organize annually the 'Innovation Awards' to reward the most innovative and applicable theses realized by students at the institutions of higher education in West Flanders (Howest, KATHO, KHBO). Every year many innovative theses are written on fascinating themes of the profit and non-profit sector. In the academic year 2009-2010, the 'Innovation Awards' were organized for the 6th time and 188 theses were taken into consideration. Spread over 10 categories, 30 theses were nominated because of their creativity and practical applicability.
